Welcome 2026 Fall interns Max Wang and Owen Kenney! Max will be supporting the Built Environment Connects program, while Owen will be assisting the Education team. Both bring fresh perspectives and enthusiasm to their respective roles, contributing to BE+’s ongoing efforts to advance sustainable and regenerative design, construction, and operations of the built environment. We look forward to their contributions and skills they’ll bring to the BE+ community throughout the fall season.
Max Wang
Hi, my name is Max, and I’m thrilled to be joining the BE+ team this fall! I’m a Master in Design Studies candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, with a background in architecture and a focus on building technology, energy, and sustainability. At BE+, I’m excited to learn how high-performance buildings actually get designed, delivered, and adopted across the industry, and to connect with the architects, engineers, and sustainability professionals driving that work. I look forward to contributing to and learning at BE+.
Owen Kenney
My name is Owen Kenney, and I am a second-year grad student of Urban and Environmental Planning and Policy at Tufts University and a 2025 graduate of the College of the Holy Cross. I am passionate about environmental justice, land use regulation, and government-subsidized housing. My passion for public service was sparked by my experience studying architectural history with a focus on mid-century public housing. I am from Weymouth, MA and am excited to connect with building practitioners and professionals who are working to make my home state a greener, healthier place to be!
