Course Description:

How do you know if every team is following integrative design approaches? What do you do if some teams are not? How do you know if you’re doing it right? What are the metrics or indicators you can track to see if mid-course corrections are needed? This session focuses on the implementation of changes that are needed to truly institutionalize integrative design in the project delivery process. There are cultural, leadership, managerial and resource shifts that typically occur over time. You also have to align consultants with your process and sometimes, even try to convince clients to shift contracts or reallocate some of the existing budget more towards earlier in design. This session focuses on all of the aspects of actually deploying this process across a firm and with all of the various stakeholders that are part of your projects.
