Celebrate the power of the collective to strengthen, inform, and transform our efforts
at our annual networking breakfast

Join us for the annual Women in Green Breakfast, featuring Kira Gould, co-author of Women in Green: Voices of Sustainable Design. This special event aims to bring together women in the green building and sustainability sectors for a morning of connection, inspiration, and empowerment. Kira will share insights on the evolving role of women in the industry, the importance of leadership, and how we can continue to make an impact in the field of sustainability. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or new to the industry, this event is designed to foster meaningful conversations, expand your network, and recharge your passion for building a more sustainable world. KEY NOTE SPEAKER:

Kira Gould, Hon. AIA, is a writer, strategist, and convener focused on advancing design leadership and climate action. Kira is the co-host of the Design the Future podcast with Lindsay Baker. Through Kira Gould CONNECT, she provides strategy and communications for organizations working toward a regenerative future. She is a Senior Fellow with Architecture 2030 and is a volunteer with the American Institute of Architects Committee on the Environment. She co-authored Women in Green: Voices of Sustainable Design (Ecotone, 2007) with the late architect and author Lance Hosey.

I am thrilled to be coming to Boston to speak at the Built Environment Plus Women in Green event about communication and how we accelerate progress in our climate action work. This is especially dear to me because I spent seven years of my life and career in Boston, where I had the extreme good fortune to learn from the welcoming and brilliant people who make up the Boston-area green built environment community. I’m happy to come visit that community, two decades later, to listen, learn, and share.
