LEED® Building Design & Construction Exam Prep (2 Part Course)

About the Training
Are you planning to earn your LEED AP Building Design & Construction professional credential? Join this training to kickstart or enhance your study process. With this LEED AP Building Design and Construction training, you will learn the requirements and calculations required for the following LEED credits: Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy & Atmosphere, Materials & Resources, and Indoor Environmental Quality. You’ll learn and practice the three exam areas – Recognition, Application, and Analysis, as well as be able to identify the key components of the LEED BD+C Rating System. Upon completion of the class you will be eligible to sit for the LEED BD+C exam at a local testing center.
Refund Policy
Full refunds are available only if written notice is provided 7 days prior to course start date. There will be no refund if less than one week’s notice is given. Please note: Full refunds will be issued less the standard processing fee. In general, rescheduling is always preferred over refunds. Registration transfers are only allowed for rescheduling to a future training and cannot be transferred between individuals.
This is a live, online training led by Patrick Boyle with The Green Engineer.
Patrick Boyle, LEED AP, WELL AP, Fitwel Ambassador, CPHC, CPHB, joined The Green Engineer in 2021 as a Sustainability Consultant. He collaborates with project teams to promote sustainable building materials, implement energy-efficient strategies, and incorporate design elements that create healthier indoor environments. Patrick is proficient with modelling programs such as WUFI. He coordinates the education services provided by The Green Engineer, leading several regularly offered courses through BE+ and facilitating TGE’s status as a USGBC Education Partner.
Learning Objectives
1. Identify the intent, requirements, and strategies for success with LEED v4 credits in the Building Design and Construction rating systems.
2. Identify synergies between credits, both within and between credit categories.
3. Plan for key considerations and requirements for LEED documentation.
4. Recognize how rating system structure and credit requirements improve project team experience.
5. Recognize how credit requirements lead to higher performing buildings and market transformation.

The Express Grant is designed to help businesses respond quickly to emerging needs and keep employees engaged. With bite-size grants for just-in-time training and no waiting periods between grants, the Express program is the Workforce Training Fund’s fastest path to funding.

Express Grant Eligibility
Employers with 100 or fewer Massachusetts, W-2 employees are eligible to receive Express Program grants. Express Program grant applications must be submitted no fewer than 21 days before the training date. The following documentation is required to apply:
Signed Form W-9
Certificate of Good Standing (COGS) from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, dated within 6 months from the date of application submission
Certificate of Compliance from the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance (DUA) that is not expired on the date of application submission
The contracting period of approved Express Grants begins 21 days after the grant application date and ends one year from this date. All training must be completed within the contract period to be eligible for reimbursement.
