SKANSKA’S NATIONAL EC3 ROLLOUT

Skanska has over 30 offices nationally and Jimmy will share perspective and examples with rolling out the Carbon Leadership Forum EC3 tool nationally. In particular he will share both example in markets where Skanska is an owner through their Commercial Development group and in markets where Skanska USA Building has local operations.

Jimmy started with Skanska in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at Georgia Tech. Sustainability is a career passion, one of Georgia’s first LEED managers, created the Atlanta Mission urban garden, and a founding board member of the construction material reuse nonprofit based in Atlanta, the Lifecycle Building Center. His current role with Skanska includes rolling out the Carbon Leadership Forum’s EC3 tool to lower embodied carbon nationally with a specific focus on Skanska’s Commercial Development markets. His project experience includes the Kendeda Building for Innovative Sustainable Design which is striving for the full certification of the Living Building Challenge.
