WUFI Passive Single Family Training (Phius)

Two 4-Hour Sessions on February 6th and 7th from 12:00 – 4:00pm
One 2-Hour Session on February 11th from 12:00 – 2:00pm
About the Class
WUFI Passive is a powerful tool that can enhance, streamline, and optimize the design and certification of passive building projects if integrated into the design process properly. This course is both for those learning WUFI Passive for the first time and those who learned WUFI Passive during the Phius Certified Consultant (CPHC) training but have not had a chance to apply the tool yet. Students will model a single family home from start to finish, learn the typical modeling workflow, and complete an individual design exercise with instructor guidance and critique.
The registration deadline for this training is January 16th. BE+ recommends registering at least 2 months in advance as seats in this course may fill quickly.
Express Grant Eligibility
Employers with 100 or fewer Massachusetts employees are eligible to receive Express Program grants. In order to be eligible for Express Program grant reimbursement, an Express Program grant application must be submitted no fewer than 21 days before the live-session start date, and you must register for the course through BE+, not Phius.
About Phius

3. Identify the fundamental modeling workflow for Phius project certification.
4. Interpret modeling results in WUFI Passive static mode.
5. Apply the skills learned to an individual design excercise.
Technology Requirements
