EPMA: 2021 Charles River Cleanup at the Esplanade

April 24, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join EPMA on April 24th for our Annual Earth Day Charles River Cleanup! Only 15 spots are available. Clean up tools will be provided.

The 2021 Charles River Cleanup on the Esplanade is part of this year’s 22nd Annual Charles River Cleanup, a collaborative cleanup effort along the Charles River organized by the Esplanade Association, Charles River Watershed Association, Charles River Conservancy, Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Emerald Necklace Conservancy, Muddy River Initiative, and Waltham Land Trust.

The program has been adjusted to adhere to public health guidelines set by the CDC and state park guidelines set by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) on volunteering in the park during the time of COVID-19.

All volunteers must complete the online Virtual Volunteer Program Waiver Form before the event.

  • All participants are required to wear a face mask or covering throughout the entire volunteer project.
  • Participants must adhere to social distancing guidelines of at least six feet between individuals.
  • Participants must virtually sign the DCR Volunteer in the Parks Release Form and Esplanade Association Volunteer Participation Waiver prior to arrival at volunteer day.

This event has been organized by the Emerging Professionals Committee (EPMA). Join us every 3rd Monday of the month for our committee meetings.
