Join EPMA and leaders of the Arboretum Park Conservancy for a morning of service at the Arnold Arboretum. The Arnold Arboretum, established in in 1872, serves as a well-respected research institution and vital community resource to the surrounding neighborhoods of Jamaica Plain and Roslindale. This beloved public park is a National Historic Landmark and part of Frederick Law Olmstead’s Emerald Necklace park system. Its iconic views and plant diversity make it a prized resource to the City of Boston. We will meet from 10:00AM-1:00PM at the Bussey Brook Meadow, 395 South St, Boston MA. Snacks and beverages will be provided; please bring a packed lunch and water for a picnic following our clean-up. Suggested attire includes closed-toe shoes or boots, flexible, long-sleeved work clothes, and weather appropriate layers. Tools and gloves will be provided.
