General Submission | $150 per board
Showboards (mounted posters) are a great way to convey your proudest projects to the community. By submitting a board, your project will be displayed at the venue, making it a great conversation starter or way to share information about your project. Built Environment Plus will be printing and mounting the showboard for you and it is included in the price. You save on labor, supplies, and the courier to get your board on site!
Award Series| $300 per board *Free Entry for Students
There are 7 Category Leader Awards, and 2 Green Projects of the Year Awards that one can submit their boards to in the Award Series. It costs $300 to submit a board. Green Building of the Year
Do you have a project that stands out? You know it’s the best of the best, so give it the attention it deserves by entering in our Green Building of the Year Contest.
This award is designed to highlight the most impressive recent green building within our green building community. A panel of industry peers, outside of Massachusetts, will judge the project entries through a holistic sustainability lens to crown this year’s Green Building of the Year. The winner of this selective competition will be announced during Green Building Showcase and will receive exclusive PR support after the event in the form of a blog and social media post.
Must be a completed building, built within the last 5 years, and designed or built by a Massachusetts company.
Green Home of the Year
Do you have a project that stands out? You know it’s the best of the best, so give it the attention it deserves by entering in our Green Home of the Year Contest.
This award is designed to highlight the most innovative, high impact, and replicable recent residential green building within our community. A diverse panel of industry peers, outside of Massachusetts, will judge the project entries through a holistic sustainability lens to crown this year’s Green Home of the Year. The winner of this selective competition will be announced during Green Building Showcase and will receive exclusive PR support after the event in the form of a blog and social media post.
Must be a completed building, built within the last 5 years, and designed or built by a Massachusetts company.
Student Project of the Year
Do you have a project that stands out? You know it’s the best of the best, so give it the attention it deserves by entering in our Student Project of the Year Contest.
The next generations are inheriting the current built environment as well as the challenges we face in its transformation to positively impact the environment, social equity, and the economy. Students K-Graduate are thinking up extraordinary visions and solutions, and with this new award, we look to spotlight and celebrate their contributions to our future. The winner of this selective competition will be announced during Green Building Showcase and will receive PR support after the event.
A proposed or completed project (does not need to be a building) done within the last 5 years in Massachusetts. K-Graduate students, and recent graduates are welcomed to submit for free. Only one submission allowed per individual.
Category Leaders
With our Category Leadership Award series, you can submit your project to be considered for an award in the following categories:
- Carbon and Energy
- Equity and Inclusion
- Health and Wellness
- Site and Landscape
- Sustainable Construction Innovation
- Sustainable Building Operations
One winner will be decided within each category. Winners will be announced during Green Building Showcase and will receive exclusive PR support after the event in the form of a combined blog and social media post.
All submissions to our Awards must be…
- registered through Eventbrite by October 7th, 2021, by 4:00 pm. Extented to Noon, Friday, October 8th.
- submitted through our Project Submission form before October 7th, 2021, by 4:00 pm. Extented to Noon, Friday, October 8th. PDF files of showboards are due through this form.
All boards – in both the Awards and General Submissions – must be created as a 24″ x 36″ pdf poster. 10MB File Size Maximum.
