Ryan Spies, Director of Sustainability, Energy & Stewardship for Saint-Gobain in North America
Ryan currently serves as the Director of Sustainability, Energy & Stewardship for Saint-Gobain in North America. Saint-Gobain is the largest manufacturer of building products in the world. Ryan is responsible for developing strategy and programs to manage energy, water, waste and CO2 reductions at over 130 manufacturing facilities in North America, including direct work on climate change policy and renewable energy deployment. After various roles in engineering and strategy, Ryan has been working in corporate sustainability for the last 9 years at 3 separate Fortune 500 companies. In 2019, Ryan was presented the IETC Award for leadership and energy conservation and environmental stewardship. Ryan has an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Lehigh University.
