The Focus of this introductory workshop is to improve overall employee engagement and performance by maximizing inclusion and minimizing implicit bias in the workplace. \n10:00 AM | AEC firm evolution Panel DiscussionTiffany Cogell will lead a discussion with panelists from four AEC firms who have participated in implicit bias workshops. The Green Engineer\, Elkus Manfredi\, DiMella Shaffer\, and Payette will demonstrate strategies they are applying in their offices and highlight lessons learned and tools to share. \n10:40 AM | Q&A \n11:00 AM | Next Steps – Connecting with Industry \nHear from community and industry leaders from Browning the Green Space\, the City of Boston\, and Sasaki on tangible next steps for taking design for equity into practice. \n11:30 AM | Networking \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Tiffany Cogell is the principal of Design 4 Equity\, an EDI (Equity\, Diversity\, Inclusion) practice\, where she collaborates with nonprofits and businesses to design processes and systems to embed diversity\, equity\, and inclusion into their organizational structure and culture. She has a background in office management\, community organizing\, construction project management\, active transit advocacy\, food sovereignty\, urban planning\, and racial justice activism. \nTiffany serves on multiple boards. She is the Benefit Director for The Green Engineer’s board\, a co-founder of the Cross Cultural Collective\, an arts collaborative that amplifies diasporic art and its creators\, a co-organizer for Ride for Black Lives Boston\, and a League Cycling Instructor (LCI) with the League of American Bicyclists.
