SUMMARY:Energy Code for Owners and Contractors: Lessons from the Field
DESCRIPTION:Learn More & Submit Your Questions\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Virtual Panel Discussion on December 4th\, 3:00 – 5:00 pm\nAbout the TrainingThis panel discussion is a bonus session added to the MA Stretch Energy Code Training Series. Look for more sessions like this\, including Stretch & Specialized Code Basics\, scheduled for 2026! Sign up for updates on these courses here. \nJoin us for an engaging panel discussion exploring how the new energy code is being implemented across Institutional (including K–12)\, Large Commercial\, and Multifamily building types. Representatives from Turner and Consigli Construction will compare project typologies\, sharing real-world challenges\, lessons learned\, and impacts from the transition. Topics will include pre-construction and cost considerations (a key concern for owners)\, execution of design intent on projects that have built in the new code\, quality control strategies like mockups\, and the role of design teams in accurate pricing. Owners and contractors alike will gain valuable insight into navigating potential pitfalls\, anticipating added costs\, and planning for success under the new code. \nAttendees are encouraged to submit questions in advance to shape the discussion. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Refund PolicyFull refunds are available only if written notice is provided 7 days prior to course start date.
