If you previously completed training through the Phius Training site\, sign into the Training site using your existing username and password \nYou will have access to the Phase I self-guided training materials for 12 months from your time of registration. Learn how to assure quality and performance for your client from the design process through construction using Phius Certification and QA/QC.\n \n \n \n \n \n Course Enrollment Structure: Phase I and Phase II \n Phase I Enrollment \nUpon registration and payment\, BE+ will send you a link to set up a PHIUS account and start the course on the PHIUS website. If you previously completed training through the Phius Training site\, sign into the Training site using your existing username and password \nYou will have access to the Phase I self-guided training materials for 12 months from your time of registration. This includes access to the Phase I Online Exam as well\, 1 of the 2 required exams for CPHC® certification. The online exam can be taken at a time of your choosing\, but must be completed within the 12 month window\, and must be completed in one sitting. Attend one\, multiple\, or all sessions depending on your training needs. \nAbout the Session: Stretch Energy Code Envelope Part 2In order to fully account for the thermal loss of exterior wall assemblies\, derating calculations need to be performed. Derating for clear field\, linear\, and point thermal bridges is necessary. This session will describe each of these thermal bridge types\, how to derate for each one\, and demonstrate calculations to determine the u-factor of an assembly accounting for the derating. We will utilize three methods for accounting for thermal bridges including prescriptive\, reference\, and modeled. This session will engage attendees in real world calculation examples\, and attendees will then use a sample project to do their own calculations.
