DESCRIPTION:Designers aim to make informed decisions and put the best products into their buildings. Manufacturers aim to provide the products that best meet the designer’s needs at a competitive price. DESCRIPTION:About the Class \nThis course is planned to be held as a New England Cohort. This course provides tools\, techniques and tips for how to build via passive house principles for all building types. It dives into Passive House building concepts and builds a foundation of knowledge and skill to integrate PHI building design standards into any building project. This course is specifically designed to teach the international Passive House Standard (PHI) to professionals in the U.S. design and construction industry and is required prior to taking the CPHD/C professional certification exam.  \nThis 13 week training includes 8 live-online training and Q&A sessions and one in-person site visit to a PHI project. Trainees who successfully complete the training are eligible to take the live-online certification exam the final week of the course. Course materials\, Passive House Planning Package (PHPP) software individual license\, and supplemental exam preparation material is also provided. \nCost of course is $1\,400\, plus an additional $595 fee for course materials for a total of $1\,995.
