DESCRIPTION:Since 2018\, Built Environment Plus has directed $1.2M of Workforce Training Funds to the MA green building community\, which has provided FREE training for 800+ individuals. This education effort is driving sustainable and regenerative design\, construction\, and operations of the built environment. We are focused on bringing relevant instruction to address the needs of the design\, construction\, and operations workforce in order to make this happen. \nBusinesses that participate in our offered training will develop industry leading skills in: \n\nIntegrative Design Planning and Strategies for High Performance Buildings\nCurrent Green Design Standards\nGreen Building Rating Systems\nOccupant Health & Wellness\nEnergy Efficiency & Carbon Management\nOperations and Management of Green Buildings\nCritical Leadership Thinking and Strategies\nBusiness Operations Software and Tools\nBuilding Industry Software and Tools\n\nView our training catalogue to see some of the training that would be available to you! \n  \nBoth Programs could fund up to 100% of your training! \nThe Express Program is designed to help businesses respond quickly to emerging needs and keep employees engaged. With bite-size grants for just-in-time training and no waiting periods between grants\, Express is the Workforce Training Fund’s fastest path to funding. Join us and learn more about this opportunity. More information can be found on the Express Program Website. \nAll business sizes can get funding towards training\, those with 100 or less employees in MA can get 100% covered up to $3K per person per course until $30k is reached for the calendar year\, and those with more than 100 employees can get up to 50% covered up to the same amounts per calendar year. \nWith the General Program Businesses of any size in Massachusetts can apply for up to $250\,000 of training in a 2-year period.  BE+ works with companies to develop a curriculum to meet their business goals.  This process begins with a training catalogue with nearly 200 courses. We write the application and then administer the grant on behalf of our clients. Companies then match the grant amount with the cost of employee time. \nMaking connections to green building experts through training instruction is a key perk in addition to gaining leading knowledge helping to advance our ability to create a healthy\, equitable\, and sustainable built environment. \n  \nThe Workforce Training Fund is a state fund financed entirely by Massachusetts employers\, and enacted into law in July 1998.
